SCHOOL SEAL

The school seal is a symbol that every member of the school should be familiar with and must value.
The school seal of Escuela Secundaria Nacional de Pasonanca is very unique and it was conceptualized by Mr. Jonathan G. Silao and was artistically improved by Mr. Benedict Fernandez.
The name, Escuela Secundaria Nacional de Pasonanca was chosen in conformity with the K-12 Curriculum and was based on the culture and tradition of Zamboanga City. The sun with eight rays represents the teachers who are responsible in molding the learners to be productive citizens of the country. The river symbolizes the abundance of water in the community in view of the fact that the office of Zamboanga City Water District is within the vicinity. The tree house is one of the famous sceneries and it speaks of the other tourist destinations in Pasonanca. The torch and the book are symbols for education. The stairs stand for the teachers, school head, and staff who are the pioneering members of the newly formed institution while the figures 2013 correspond to the year the school is established.
