
SCHOOL RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Attendance
1.1 Regular Classes
• Regular school days are from Mondays to Fridays.
• Students must come on time for the flag ceremony at 7:00 A.M. everyday.
Late comers shall be asked to submit a written explanation to the principal.
• Morning classes start at 7:30 A.M. and ends at 4:30 P.M.
• Noon break time 11:15 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
1.2 Class Attendance
• Regularity of attendance and punctuality are required in all classes.
• A student who has been absent shall present a letter of excuse from his/her
parents or guardian noted by the Principal/Guidance Counselor before he can
be accepted in class.
• Students whose accumulated absences exceed 20% of the number of school
days without any valid reason shall be given a failing grade and given no credit
for the course or subject. Furthermore, the school head may at his/her
discretion, and in the individual case, exempt a student who exceeds the twenty
percent limit for reasons considered valid and acceptable to the school. Such
discretion shall not excuse the student concerned from responsibility in
keeping up with the lesson assignments and taking examinations where
indicated. The discretionary authority is vested in the school head, and may not
be availed of by a student nor granted by a faculty member without the consent
of the school head.
• A student who leaves the class and does not come back or comes back only at
the end of the period shall be considered absent from the class.
• Absence from the class has an effect on the student’s grade when quizzes,
recitation, or exams are given during his absence. Students cannot make up fro
work missed during absences without valid excuse. Parent/guardian
conference will be required.
• A student is considered absent when he is not in class;
when he has been tardy for five times; and when he has cut class twice.
2. Uniform
a. Students shall wear the prescribed uniform and I.D. during classes from Monday
to Friday.
b. P.E. uniform shall be worn during P.E. day only.
c. Color-dyed hair is not allowed. Prescribed haircut for the boys shall be strictly
observed.
d. No earrings for boys.
3. The following are considered infractions that shall be dealt with accordingly
• Bladed weapons, firearms, explosives, pornographic materials, alcohol drinks,
and prohibited drugs are not allowed inside the campus.
• Drinking liquor within the campus or entering under the influence of liquor is a
serious offense.
• Smoking or gambling is not allowed inside the school premises.
4. The following are considered Major Offenses punishable by Suspension or Expulsion.
• Gross misconduct, discourtesy or disrespect in words or deed to any member of
the faculty, administration or non-teaching staff.
• Cheating and stealing
• Assaulting a teacher or any other school authority or his agents or students
• Smoking within the school premises
• Vandalism, writing on or destroying school property like chairs, tables, books,
laboratory equipment and others
• Gambling of any sort
• Drinking intoxicants and liquor
• Carrying and concealing deadly weapons
• Extorting and asking money from others
• Fighting, causing injury to others
• Using, possessing and selling prohibited drugs
• Hazing and any form or manner whether inside or outside the school premises.
• Immorality/sexual harassment
• Instigating, leading or participating in concerted activities leading to stoppage of
classes
• Preventing, threatening students or faculty members or school authorities from
discharging their duties or from attending classes or entering school premises.
• Forging or tampering with school records or transfer forms
• Membership in fraternities and sororities are strictly prohibited
5. Minor Offenses
• Entering the campus without an ID card or using someone else ID card.
• Disobeying school regulations such as littering in corridors and classrooms,
eating during class sessions.
• Cutting classes
• Failure to wear the prescribed uniform or attire
• Male students wearing earrings/piercings on other parts of the body such as
tongue and eyelids.
• Cellular phones are not allowed to be used during class hours
(DepEd Orders No. 83, s. 2003, No. 26, s. 2000 and No. 70, s. 1999)
• Unbecoming behavior of a student
• Insubordination or lack of due respect towards authorities of members of the
faculty.
In all cases, due process shall be strictly observed.
